Command and control software for a 4.0 plant
Development of a 4.0 custom software for the remote control of industrial 4.0 plants used for the automatic closed cycle washing of wheels with Siemens PLC.
We have created a custom solution for the management of remote washing systems. The application allows to manage the sales network, the plant structure and the control and control of the 4.0 machines present. We have created the 4.0 interconnection between the machinery and the company’s MES.
The customized 4.0 software interfaces with the machines through the Siemens PLC with which it exchanges information, monitors and manages the activities of the machinery including operation.
The software allows you to check the status of the machine, view and start the actions to be performed and estimate predictively the time remaining at the end of the operations running.
4.0 integration between PLC and MES
The machines with which we have integrated are present in industrial plants used to wash the wheels of heavy vehicles. The 4.0 ready machines were equipped with a Siemens PLC and on-board control panel not yet compliant for incentives.
The PLC allowed local and not remote control without advanced feedback on the status and historicity of machinery activities.
We have created the 4.0 interconnection between machinery and MES and the possibility of remote command and control. We have transformed the machinery to be industry 4.0 compliant ready to qualify the machinery as 4.0 by expertise.
We have operated by interfacing with standard web-based communication protocols such as TCP/IP already available.

Command and control
Software realization for command and control of the washing machines. The software communicating with the Siemens PLC allows to manage all the machine’s operating processes remotely as if the operator were in front of the machine. From the performance of washing activities to the monitoring of the condition of the machinery and the activities carried out.
The software collects the data of the state of the machinery, stores them in historical tabular and graphic form. It allows you to view the status of the activities in progress and communicates the status to the internal MES for the management of the plant.
The software has been made with a responsive web interface and allows remote access. Both from the local network and from the outside via access credentials encrypted by any type of device.
Now you can monitor the status of the machine, manage the tasks running and/or to be performed, estimate the time of performance of activities from any device even off-site via tablets and smartphones.
The 4.0 interconnection made the machinery compliant for Industry 4.0 and expendable. In this way, the company can give its customers access to tax incentives when they buy their machinery.
